Very wise words from Melody Beattie's book of the same name. I can't help but think how the world is totally backward. Those we look up to have status, and those we look down on do not. Clearly, in the realm of the spiritual struggle, it is the other way around.

I'm hearing this from everyone. They say it is an unforgettable performance, along the lines of Christian Bale pummeling his mother and sister.
I'd pay to see that. The Dark Knight turns evil. Kind of similar to the last Spiderman movie when he had that black. . . whatever that was all over him. The ultimate reality show, "Stars Gone Fucking Nuts". Will Michael Jackson get a rose from Christian Bale, or will he go home (dramatic pause) broken hearted.
