Could it be true?

Multiple media outlets reporting that Manny Ramirez and the Dodgers have agreed in principle to a two year, $45 Million dollar deal, however neither the Dodgers nor Scott Boras' office have confirmed any deal being completed. Manny is either in LA or currently en route from Miami and will meet with owner Frank McCourt tomorrow at Dodger stadium, presumably to take a physical. There still may be some minor haggling over the way that the deferred money will be doled out. When that is completed, I will be breaking Matzoh all over my head and dancing on a bed of dreadlocks.

More later. Still cautious but feeling it.

It's done, foo. Now will you kindly admit you'll be watching every pitch? The Dodger's starting 8 look slightly frightening.

The Dodgers sign Ramirez and Tony Forkush becomes about as interesting as the steroid related cyst on A-Rod's hip. Forky - just because you ran your stupid, idiotic mouth like you always do ("I won't watch the Dodgers") and were wrong about everything like you always are doesn't mean we don't need your periodic bloviating. Forkush has no wind in his sails as a commentator and I need leadership right now. I'm so disappointed. I'm thinking about taking over your blog. Where have you been, anyway? Out in bars doing role playing games with Jeff Lebeau? For god sakes, I don't know up from down anymore..

Well, Jamie good point. Let's start our own Baseball blog. First subject, opinion about Baseball World Classic. For it or against it?

How come I hear crickets? Did you see the game with
Netherlands vs. Dominican Republic? What a game. It went scoreless for ten innings. ten innings! The Dutch pitching getting a shutout against the mighty Dominican Republic? Unheard of.

I thought the Dutch team blew it when they let that one score in the top of the 11th. But, when they got that double to lead off the bottom of the 11th, I thought we might have an upset.

Sure the Dutch beat them before, but who would have guessed it would happen again.

Great game and great to see baseball again.

Can you say A-Rod who?
