I'm here. I've been here everyday, but no one else has been. No rantings, no comments. Just cricket sounds.

Can't wait for baseball season. The Lakers are killing me. If they don't win it all I will kill myself. Last year the Dodgers entertained me. I would love to see them win it all, but I want them to have a good season and build. I want to have fun like I did last year.

The following is to be sung like Terry Cashman only it's about Michael Pascoe and Tony Forkush:

"I'm talkin' basebaaaall, forever Dodger jews."

I wish you both the best for this baseball season and I'll be monitoring everything from my lap top. Your team could be fearsome and expectations are high what with signing Manny and all. The worst would be if the Dodgers ran away with it, that would keep misery-lover Tony extremely quiet and very boring. But nor do I want them to tank as Forkush would be unbearable, braying on about the McCourts and all. What's most important though is that it's time for baseball. What a glorious time to be alive.

Who was the best baseball team you ever saw? Don’t count the ’27 Yankees or the ’29 Athletics, but teams you actually remember seeing. The two best teams I ever saw was the ‘70’s Athletics and and the Big Red Machine from the same decade. They couldn’t afford to field either of those teams today. What an awesome team. Oakland was better of the two, but what a great Cinci team. Every player should be in the Hall and I get mad when it took until 2000 to elect Tony Perez. That’s because Baseball has a lousy system for electing players.

Speaking of which, it’s about time that Jim Rice was finally selected. The a sham the Hall is.

I agree on the 75-76 Reds team. The other best team I've ever seen was the `98 Yankees. They were awsome.

They are on the list of one of the best teams. Not my list, but on the list. Star Trek Deep Space Nine made reference to the greatest team that Capt Sisco ever saw and I think it was the '98 Yankees. Problem with that is that the show was long before 1998. Spooky huh?

Since Tony just had surgery (I wish him well) I was thinking of taking over his blog on an interim basis and writing as Tony Forkush. Anybody for that? There's a part of me that always wanted to be like Forkush anyway and I think I'm qualified to be him if only on a temporary basis. If more than one person gives me the go ahead, I'll become Tony Forkush on this thread for a couple days or until Tony gets really mad at me.

I'm all for that. But can you give a little code so we know it's the Jamie version of Tony. Or will that be part of the fun?

Whatever, I'm all for some kind of action on here. If not, I may just break my habit of coming and visiting Tony's blog.

I am monitoring everything you all say and have been filing reports with the central government of Ezfleckazstan. You will soon find comments sent to you by hairy faced Albanian nuns.

My nose is puffed with puffs. I haven't slept in two days. But opening day yesterday was insane and wonderful.

I have made an executive decision. In the spirit of participation I'm proposing the following as Tony recovers from his surgery:

If I get the go ahead from two or more parties, for the period of one day or two, all posts received shall be FROM Tony Forkush. This means you will be posting AS Tony Forkush. Who on this planet hasn't wanted to be Tony Forkush for a day? You can kvetch, tell a story, rant, talk Dodgers, Strunz and Farah, whores, meth, you know the dance. Assuming this happens you can use my first post as a guideline. Likely at the top it will read "Tony says:..." etc. I look forward to your thoughts.

This is Tony. The Dodgers can suck my asshole. I can't believe the way they are playing. The McCourts can lick the sweat off of my testicles-- hey Tony... the Dodgers have been winning lately.

Uh... never mind.

Hey, I like being Tony for a day. Let's do it.

You never post anyone so I am switching to Keith Olbermann's blog. He too is on blogger.com, so there.

Hello... wow, no one there. Echo, echo, echo. Hello, hello, hello. "Now batting for Pedro Barbone, Manny Mota, Mota, Mota."

Well gentlemen, and Laura whoever the fuck you are, I want to welcome all of you back to my blog. We are now fully operational again. Also, who the fuck wrote the comment masquerading as me about my surgery and shit? That wasn't me. I don't remember any of it. I wasn't there, I tell you. Fuck off.
Anyway. My first post will be NOW.
